There is no substitute for exercise in leading a healthy lifestyle. In ancient times, people were very hardworking, and even their eating habits were quite systematic. In the modern age, we are focused on work just as much, which is why our health is under threat. There is no substitute for exercise to keep your body healthy. But we should know when and how exercise is good for health.
Morning and afternoon are generally the best times for exercise. But depending on your work pressure, exercise can be done at night as well.
Morning Exercise:
Heavy exercise should not be done early in the morning because the body does not have enough energy at that time. So, do light exercise right after waking up and then have a light breakfast and exercise a few hours later. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), 21 minutes of exercise per day is enough for adults to maintain good health.
Afternoon Exercise:
Afternoon is also one of the best times to exercise. Since exercise makes the body sweat, it is best to exercise in cold weather. Besides, you can walk for at least 1 hour every day. But while walking, remember to walk 1 kilometer in 10 minutes.
Exercise should not be done at noon or in extreme heat because the body gets tired quickly.
Do not eat heavy food while exercising; it does not have any benefits. However, light snacks such as bananas, apples, or donuts can be eaten.
Drinking too much water while exercising is not recommended. Drink water at least 10 minutes after exercise.
Sweet foods should be avoided as much as possible in the food menu. Even soft drinks, fatty foods, and fast food should be avoided.
Avoid exercising with any kind of physical illness. Even pregnant mothers should not exercise at all without a doctor’s advice. Consult a doctor for any type of diet or exercise.
Cardio Exercise:
Those who cannot find time at all for physical exercise can do cardio exercises. Cardio exercise is a type of exercise that helps keep the heart healthy and increases the breathing rate.
- Setting goals:
Many people think that cardio exercise is difficult or time-consuming. In fact, this is not the case. Rather, it is important to set goals within your means. Initially, it is important to develop the habit of walking for at least 15 minutes daily. Gradually increase the time period. - Learn to enjoy exercise:
Many people find regular exercise boring. Avoid exercises that cause you discomfort. Do the exercises you love regularly and make them a habit. Find exercise in everyday activities. For example: dancing, swimming, cycling, etc. - Find a workout partner:
Find a partner for daily workouts to beat loneliness. It will make your exercise more enjoyable. Another solution can be going to the gym. You can also continue your workout by going to the gym.
This type of workout plan may be challenging for you at first. But if you work out regularly, you can reap the benefits very quickly. If you have back pain or backaches, prepare a workout plan according to the doctor’s advice before the workout.
